I the undersigned, call on Stoke-on-Trent City Council to take enforcement action against the landlords who own the buildings at the top end of Tunstall High Street to bring them back to a reasonable standard.
STOP THE ROT – Back my campaign to tidy up the top of Tunstall High Street.
I’m Jonathan Gullis, and I’m proud to be the MP for Stoke-on-Trent North, Kidsgrove & Talke.
Time and time again, local residents complain to me about the top of Tunstall High Street.
It’s an eyesore and needs fixing.
I changed the law so rogue landlords who leave our heritage buildings to rot pay more fines.
Councils have the power to take enforcement action against rogue and absent landlords – for years I’ve been calling for this to take place.
Stoke-on-Trent City Council must act now to hold landlords accountable for their neglect.
I'll be letting Stoke-on-Trent City Council know how many people are backing my campaign.
So, will you sign my petition and help me Stop the Rot on Tunstall High Street?
